For porn starlette Sasha Grey it’s a blog post about a new law in Australia pertaining to her line of work.

Australian Classification Board (ACB) is now banning depictions of small-breasted women in adult publications and films. They banned mainstream pornography from showing women with A-cup breasts, apparently on the grounds that they encourage paedophilia [sic], and in spite of the fact this is a normal breast size for many adult women.

So let me get this straight. Small boobs: not okay because they invoke images of children. But! Brazilian waxing: totally okay.

What? How does this make sense? Being naturally hairless is something that is 100% unique to children. If anything, this invokes images of children far more than small boobs, which can be totally natural to women of all ages.

I cannot explain how senseless this is. Promoting artificial ideas of sexuality over natural ones? Say what you want about personal preferences for things being neat and tidy being totally separate from preferences for children, but all of those arguments could also be applied to preferences for smaller breasts.

So what’s the deal. Can anyone justify this to me?
